Privacy Policy

This policy describes information collected during a visit, the purposes for using it, and the limited circumstances in which others may receive it. Continued use signifies acceptance of these practices.

Data You Give Us Directly

Search Queries

A name or case number entered in a search tool passes directly to the outside provider operating that tool. The provider processes the request and supplies results; we do not retain or log the entered terms.

Messages and Contact Submissions

An email may be retained long enough to answer and administer the message. It remains within our organization unless disclosure is legally required.

Data We Gather Automatically

Page requests can automatically provide the following technical visit details:

  • The IP address assigned to your device
  • Which browser you are using and its version
  • Your device type and operating system
  • The pages you visited and how long you stayed on each
  • The site that sent you here, if any
  • Timestamps for each page view

Cookies and Analytics

Cookies are small device files used to understand traffic patterns and page use. Analytics providers aggregate that information. A browser can block cookies, although doing so may change how some functions behave.

What We Do With This Data

  • Keeping the site up, running, and loading quickly
  • Sending your search requests to the right partner service
  • Figuring out which pages people find useful and which need work
  • Tracking down and fixing technical issues
  • Showing ads that may line up with your interests

No Court-Record Data on File

No database of Montgomery County dockets or personal case records is hosted, maintained, compiled, or sold here. General instructions identify Tammy C. Foskey's Superior Clerk office, the county's separate lower courts, and Georgia E-Access routing to PeachCourt. We are not a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA, and visitor information is never assembled into a consumer report or third-party case profile.

Third-Party Search Partners

Outside companies operate the search boxes. Their privacy policies govern submitted data, including retention and disclosure practices beyond our control. Review the applicable partner policy before running a search.

Links to Other Websites

Links may open clerk pages, trial-court portals, Georgia routing systems, legal-aid resources, or outside search services. Once a visitor leaves, the destination's privacy policy applies. Review it before providing personal information.

Some advertising providers may track activity across services for targeted advertising. That processing occurs on their systems rather than ours.

Who Might See Your Data

Personal information is not sold. Limited data may be disclosed to:

  • Search partners that handle queries you run on our site
  • Analytics services we use to track traffic and performance
  • Ad networks that place ads on our pages
  • Law enforcement or government bodies when a valid legal order requires it

How We Protect Your Data

Reasonable security practices protect collected information, but no internet system is completely secure. A breach-free service therefore cannot be guaranteed.

Users Under 18

The service is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. Identified minor data will be deleted when brought to our attention.

Your Data Rights

Applicable Georgia privacy and consumer-protection law may provide additional rights. Georgia's Open Records Act, O.C.G.A. ยง 50-18-70, governs requests to public custodians but does not convert this private resource into a government records office. At a minimum, you may:

  • Ask for a copy of what we have on file about you
  • Have us fix information that is wrong
  • Request that we erase your data
  • Opt out of certain kinds of data processing

Updates to This Policy

Future revisions will be posted here with a revised effective date. Review the current version to understand the practices then in force.

Effective date: August 21, 2026
